Race For Ray 5k Come support Ray Brown! 8am Sunday February 3rd, 2013

Ray Brown is an awesome young man who will be turning 32 on Feb 4th, 2013. He is a medical school student at UF. He is a great friend, brother, son, grandson, cousin, and much more.

Ray was traveling home after visiting a friend in Nashville, TN on June 21, 2012 when he was involved in a car accident involving a semi-truck leaving him unconscious with a traumatic brain injury. Fortunately, he was able to receive immediate care from a doctor and an off duty trooper, where they were able to stabilize him until paramedics could arrive. Ray was then med flighted to Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, TN. In fall of 2012 he was discharged to a rehabilitation facility in Florida.

He has much healing to do even though he has made remarkable improvements. The path for recovery will involve lengthy physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Ray and his family are all local to St. Augustine. All donations go toward expenses related to Ray’s recovery process.
